Why: Nordic Spring, curated by Animus, is an exhibit that seeks to celebrate the beauty of spring through the lenses of four acclaimed Scandinavian artists. The collection features limited edition works from Kristian Levin (noCreative), Arne Spangereid, Maria Fynsk Norup, and Kesja Tabaczuk.

Empire

Who: Kids Of The Apocalypse, Icona Pop, and Reo Cragun

What: Open edition

When: May 24 at 4 p.m. ET

Where: Sound.xyz

Why: Following a sold-out Solana collection, the audiovisual experience and multimedia franchise known as Kids Of The Apocalypse (KOTA) is gearing up for another unique drop. This time, KOTA will release a collaborative open edition alongside Icona Pop and Reo Cragun, marking Icona Pop’s first foray into the Web3 music space.

Why: Formed in the childhood bedroom of pseudonymous creators Jess Wiseman and Callum over a decade ago, Figuregot is a dynamic project said to be “inspired by the childlike joy of trading cards and collectibles.” Although little has been revealed about the collection thus far, from preliminary lore documents, it seems that storytelling will be a major aspect of its IP ecosystem.

Who: Taylor Might

What: Open edition

Why: Open Headition is an “infinite generative open edition” created by Taylor Might. Best known as the creator of Dippies and Fethers, this latest from Might takes inspiration from mushrooms — specifically, how they form colonies that are connected in a similar fashion to the human nervous system.

Holy Script

What: Generative open edition

Why: From Sarah Script — Web3’s most prominent calligrapher — comes Holy Script: a celebration of the power of the written word. The project consists of a vast array of literary NFTs, with each token featuring a word calligraphed by hand with ink on paper. The project is meant to imply that words themselves are sacred because they have meaning to the reader.
